International Federation of Biosafety Associations
Strengthening the State of Global Biosafety and Biosecurity through the International Federation of Biosafety Associations (IFBA).
NuAire has sponsored and teamed up with IFBA in efforts to provide safe, practical, and sustainable solutions for Biological Safety Cabinets throughout the world. IFBA and NuAire share similar goals in not just providing high quality products but a commitment to ongoing education, training, and servicing to ensure Biological Safety Cabinets are used properly and sustained over a long period of time.
NuAire is excited to join IFBA's Containment Engineering Working Group (BEWG) to address a lack of trained and qualified biocontainment engineers who can install, service, and maintain Biosafety Cabinets in a cost-effective and practical manner that is applicable to local conditions around the world. This collaboration will help aid and educated laboratory technicians, scientists and maintenance personnel about Biological Safety Cabinets as a primary means of containment for working safely with infectious organisms.
NuAire has developed and will continue to create educational materials on all our products through helpful tips, techniques, and white papers. Some educations information can be found here:

IFBA was established in 1971 when a need was established for an international forum to discuss arising issues in the biosafety world. The IFBA is a global community of research professionals, biosafety experts, laboratory technicians, architects, engineers, policy makers and more who share a common interest in progressing biosafety and biosecurity. IFBA helps develop and implement biosafety programs through partnerships among global biosafety associations, non-governmental organizations, academia, policy makers, governments, international agencies, private industry, donor organizations and stakeholders.
