Choose Compounding Aseptic Isolators when compounding sterile products [CSP], as these isolators will minimize airborne contaminants in the work zone.
A positive air pressure is maintained in the work area relative to the interchange compartment. This minimizes the risk of contaminants from entering the work area.
Choose a Compounding Aseptic Containment Isolator when compounding hazardous drugs, as these isolators will minimize airborne toxins from reaching the surrounding environment.
A negative air pressure is maintained in the work area relative to the interchange compartment. This level of protection ensures chemotherapy agents or other hazardous materials will not escape the work area. (Choose the PharmaGard NTE797 if a fully exhausted unit is required.)
