Exchange rotors with a simple twist and hear an audible “click,” no tools required. Removing and replacing rotors is so easy that you can quickly move from one task to another.
Control the centrifuge with the simple, user-friendly InSight electronic control center (ECC). The touchscreen uses clearly defined menus and icons to let you quickly identify tasks, helping to eliminate errors. The InSight ECC alerts when a cycle ends displays service notifications and calibrates imbalances. You can also enter and save up to 100 programs and easily transfer them to another ECC.
The bio-lids let you open and close the buckets with a single hand, and you can install and remove them with the buckets on the rotor.
If the rotor is not evenly loaded and balanced, and vibrations become too high, the centrifuge stops automatically. You can override this process by manually setting tolerance levels.
Built-in detection of NuWind rotors enables the centrifuge to set speeds that cannot exceed the rotor's maximum.
Prevent users from opening the lid while the centrifuge is running with the automatic lid lock. It also ensures that the rotor is securely installed and won't damage the centrifuge.
Be alerted when the centrifuge cycle is complete, even in noisy environments, with an end-of-cycle light as well as an audible alarm.
Keep power to the centrifuge clean with the Power Factor Control (PFC), which provides constant, uniform voltage and amperage to the motor to give you results that are consistent with quality, highly reliable and 100 percent repeatable.
Ensure the chamber temperature remains under 37 degrees Celsius with this NuWind ventilated model. It draws cold air from the front of the unit, and the air heated by the operating centrifuge exhausts from the bottom of the unit so heat doesn't build up. The warm air from the motor exhausts the same way.
Take advantage of the extra capacity in this small centrifuge. The 0.5-inch steel shell minimizes exterior size while providing more interior space, durability, and speed.
