Self-Locking Rotor System

Hitachi Koki himac CR22N High-Speed Centrifuge Self-locking Rotor System As simple as it sounds. Place the rotor onto the drive shaft and that's it. By using centrifugal force the rotor automatically locks into position. There is no need for the use of tools, screws, and/or buttons.

Non-Contact Imbalance

Hitachi Koki himac CR22N High-Speed Centrifuge Non-Contact Imbalance Detection System The imbalance detection system uses a sensor to continuously measures oscillation over the entire rpm range.  The system immediately detects abnormal vibrations caused by the imbalance of the rotor and stops the rotation of the rotor automatically.

A Smaller Footprint while Maximizing Capacity

A re-engineered drive unit and the introduction of a 1.5 liter bottle the CR22N now features a 6-liter rotor (1.5L x 4 bottles) capacity while the slim footprint allows the CR22N to fit nicely into any laboratory.

"ECO" Mode

Hitachi Koki himac CR22N High-Speed Centrifuge ECO Mode
Over a period of time if the touch screen display has not been it use the system will automatically dim the screen and discontinue the use of refrigeration (except in run mode) to reduce energy consumption up to 83% of standby electricity. You may also press the “eco” button on the touch screen display to put the CR22N in standby mode manually.
 
 

A Drive Unit with a Re-generating Brake System Saves

Kinetic energy produced from the spinning rotor produces the energy needed to brake the rotor saving electricity. The heat is exhausted into the room to reduce temperature build up in the centrifuge bowl. The re-braking system has the ability to return up to 40% of electricity used.

Refrigerants used in the CR22N have an ODP (ozone depletion potential) level of 0. Over 80% materials of the product are reusable or recyclable.
