NuAire manufactures NSF/ANSI 49, and EN12469 certified Class I and Class II Biosafety Cabinets (BSCs) that provide personnel, product, and environmental protection through the use of laminar air flow and HEPA filtration when looking to obtain optimum control over product quality while reducing the potential for exposure. We offer a range of ergonomically designed bench top and console models that can either be recirculated back into the laboratory environment or into a facility exhaust system through the duct work.

The CellGard HD 481 Biological Safety Cabinet offers a safer environment for the compounding of hazardous drugs, powders, and cytotoxics through a three tiered filter system. HEPA filters under the work surface provide additional protection.
The LabGard® ES (Energy Saver) AIR Limited model NU-545E Laminar Flow Biosafety Cabinet (LFBSC) is 230-volt NSF/ANSI49 and EN12469 listed bench/tabletop model, optionally available with a base support stand, for operation as a console model. The LabGard® ES Model NU-545E utilizes an Energy Saver DC ECM Motor optimally determined forward curved fan for each model size/width to maximize both energy efficiency and filter loading capacity. The Energy Saver ECM Motor is controlled to airflow set points via a solid-state DC motor controller with digital dual thermistor airflow sensors that provide an automatic compensation (constant volume control) for both filter loading and line voltage variances.
The LabGard® ES (Energy Saver) AIR NU-543E is a bench top model with base stand options. Model NU-543E holds TUV and NSF listings meeting industry standards EN 12469 and NSF/ASNI 49 at a 254 mm (10-inch) access opening. LabGard offers optimum product quality while reducing the potential for exposure of both product and personnel to airborne biological or particulate chemical agents in low to moderate risk-hazard research and drug preparation or product operations.
