The AireGard™ ES (Energy Saver) NU-201 Table Top Horizontal Airflow Workstation is a workstation intended to provide a clean and sterile work area in the laboratory or compounding pharmacy. Designed with ergonomics in mind, the NU-201 is easy and comfortable to use, and it is designed with standout technology to keep both lab personnel and products or animals inside of the workstation safe.
To protect lab personnel and products, the AireGard™ ES NU-201 Table Top Horizontal Airflow Workstation is equipped with the HEPEX™ Zero Leak Airflow system. This provides constant uniform air pressure inside the plenum, offering true laminar airflow (product protection) in the work zone.
AireGard™ laminar airflow workstations can be used within a pharmacy clean room to comply with standard USP 797. Tested using standard ISO 14644-1:2015, model NU-201 ensures a particle free work zone for compounding activities.
The bench-top horizontal airflow workstation comes in five nominal sizes (two, three, four, five and six ft.) with three work zone height options (24, 30, 36 in.). This means you can choose the workstation that is just right for your lab or pharmacy.
For control over the workstation, lab technicians can use the essentials control system, which incorporates simple rocker switches and are easy to use. A mini-helic gauge also offers a visible indication of system performance for easier monitoring.
The NU-201 was created to reduce fatigue in the lab technicians using it. Bright, cool white that is easy on the eyes properly illuminates the work zone, and the workstation has three IV bar option heights, which means it can be easily adjusted for different work flows or technicians.
The AireGard™ ES NU-201 Table Top Horizontal Airflow Workstation has an energy-saving motor built into it. This ultra-high efficiency motor increases filter life and decreases energy bills, ultimately reducing the overall cost of owning the workstation.
A newly re-designed perforated diffuser in the workstation is easy to remove for cleaning. It also adequately protects supply HEPA filter and provides true laminar airflow throughout the work surface, to eliminate turbulent currents around the edges of the HEPA filter and work zone.
