Model NU-5741 is a Direct Heat CO2 Incubator featuring precise Humidity control through the use of a water reservoir and sensor as well as Oxygen control for hypoxia research by injecting Nitrogen gas to meet set point to suppress Oxygen levels.

Overview

The In-VitroCell NU-5741 is a direct heat CO2 featuring Humidity and Oxygen control. Relative Humidity (RH) is controlled through an RH sensor injecting water vapor from a reservoir water tank in place of a water pan to meet the setpoint. Hypoxic conditions are created through an O2 sensor injecting Nitrogen (N2) gas to meet setpoint. Model NU-5741 creates optimal growth conditions for samples prone to desiccation and needing hypoxic conditions.

Oxygen Control for Sensitive Cell Cultures

Our CO2 Incubator models have an advanced Oxygen control feature specifically designed for sensitive cell lines susceptible to stress and DNA damage. This innovative feature includes an O2 sensor that meticulously monitors oxygen levels within the growth chamber. Nitrogen (N2) gas is precisely injected to reduce oxygen levels to your desired set point to maintain an optimal environment.

This extensive oxygen control range is particularly beneficial for a wide array of research applications, encompassing studies related to the brain, eyes, liver, heart, kidneys, and more. Enhanced Cell Growth with Optimal Humidity Control

Our growth chamber is ingeniously designed to maintain relative humidity levels up to 90%, fostering an ideal environment for cell growth. This is achieved through a 3-liter external reservoir, separate from the main chamber. Air from the chamber circulates through this reservoir, which becomes saturated with water vapor in an evaporation box. This process is precisely regulated based on feedback from our RH sensor, which adds humidity to the chamber air whenever necessary to maintain the set point.

This feature ensures that the cells are grown in a consistently humid environment, crucial for maintaining cell integrity and promoting healthy cell development. By precisely controlling the humidity, our chamber creates optimal conditions for various cell culture applications, leading to more successful and reliable experimental outcomes.

This state-of-the-art design actively samples the air within the chamber, directing it through a HEPA filter in an external compartment. This filtered air is recirculated back into the chamber, maintaining a clean environment at a slight positive pressure.
