The In-VitroCell CO2 Incubator model NU-5820 features humidity control through a relative humidity (RH) sensor and a water reservoir to minimize cell desiccation. The RH sensor monitors humidity levels in the growth chamber. When humidity is needed to maintain, setpoint vapor is injected into the chamber from the water reservoir. In addition, model NU-5820 comes standard with a 200-liter capacity, dual decontamination cycles, and a dual wave single source infrared (IR) sensor. In-VitroCell NU-5820 creates optimal cell growth conditions and is the perfect solution for cell lines prone to desiccation.

Reduce Cell Desiccation
Precise Humidity Control
Relative humidity levels up to 90% are achieved in the growth chamber through the use of a 3-liter reservoir external to the chamber. The chamber air is routed through the water vapor saturated the air in an evaporate box to add humidity when the RH sensor indicates more humidity is needed to meet set point.

All NuAire CO2 incubators standardize on the NuTouch control system, meaning that once users learn to navigate one incubator they can move seamlessly to any other in the lab.

Coved Interior Corners
NuAire CO2 incubators are designed to minimize potential hiding places for contamination. Coved corners and a crevice-free interior, which makes it easy to clean.

Dual Decontamination Cycles
The direct heat technology enables the use of a 145°C dry and 95°C humidified decontamination cycle that can be conveniently run overnight in just 8 hours without removing the CO2 or temperature sensors. The NuTouch control system steps the user through the process with on screen instructions and displays progress throughout each phase of the complete cycle.

Infrared (IR) Sensor
A single source dual wave infrared (IR) sensor controls CO2 levels within the growth chamber to maintain an optimal PH. The wavelengths used are absorbed only by CO2, making the measurements insensitive to other components such as water vapor. Advanced design provides a stable output minimizing drift, and requires less frequent calibrations.
