AireGard® Laminar Airflow Workstations (LAFW) also known as laminar flow hoods/clean benches provide ISO Class 5 product protection for USP <797> sterile, non-hazardous compounding and clean processes across pharmacy, microbiology, and research. Use where ISO 14644-1 clean airflow is required for injectable prep, IV solutions, tissue culture, optics, microelectronics, and more.
All workstations use an ultra-high-efficiency motor to deliver 90 FPM (0.46 m/s) laminar flow of HEPA-filtered air into a stainless-steel work zone (stainless work surface on PVC core) for easy procedures and cleaning. Standard fluorescent lighting (LED optional). The AeroMax™ control displays performance and alarms if conditions are unsafe. Configure options to fit your workflow.
The AireGard range gives you a choice of vertical or horizontal airflow and configurable options such as polycarbonate sidewalls, a Nevamar work surface with PVC core, an IV bar, outlets, service valves, LED lighting, and base stands.
Clean benches protect the product, not the operator. For biological hazards or personnel protection, use a Class II Biosafety Cabinet.
