Installing your NuAire In-VitroCell CO₂ incubator correctly is the first step to ensuring a stable, contamination-free environment for cell culture. Whether you're working with tissue engineering, IVF, or pharmaceutical research, proper installation sets the foundation for scientific success. Key Installation Steps for Your CO₂ Incubator
1. Unpacking and Initial Inspection
Upon delivery, inspect both the packaging and the incubator for visible damage. Unbox the unit carefully and leave it secured to the shipping skid until it's in the final lab location. For assistance, see the unpacking video.
2. Placement and Leveling
- Allow 2 inches (51 mm) of clearance on the sides and back.
- Leave 10 inches (254 mm) between units and 3 feet (914 mm) in front for access.
- Use a bubble level to ensure all four feet are stable on the surface.
3. Internal Cleaning
Before operation, remove all shelves and clean the chamber with 70% isopropyl alcohol. Avoid halogenated or chlorinated agents. View proper surface cleaning techniques.
4. Humidification Setup
- For models like NU-5700 or NU-5810: Fill the bottom pan with distilled water (not purer than 1 MΩ).

5. Gas and Power Connections

6. System Startup and Calibration
Power on the incubator and allow 8–12 hours for temperature stabilization. Date and time can be set via the intuitive NuTouch control system.
