NU-NR800-400E: 1.2 meter 230V CACI

The 4-foot model provides a narrower footprint suitable for facilities with limited cleanroom floor space, while maintaining the full ISO Class 5 work zone, interchange, and FlowGard control system included on all NU-NR800E configurations.

NU-NR800-600E: 1.8 meter 230V CACI

The 6-foot model offers an extended work zone for higher-volume or multi-product compounding workflows. Exhaust volume and total unit weight increase proportionally; refer to the purchase specifications for site planning requirements.

Performance and Compliance Standards

The NU-NR800E maintains negative pressure in both the work zone and interchange throughout the compounding cycle, ensuring continuous containment of hazardous drug aerosols and particulates. Performance is certified to CETA CAG-002-2006, and the isolator is designed to meet the requirements of USP <800> Hazardous Drugs — Handling in Healthcare Settings, NIOSH guidelines for hazardous drug handling, and ASHP guidelines for handling hazardous drugs in health-system pharmacies.

ISO Class 5 airflow is produced and maintained by supply and exhaust HEPA filters rated 99.99% efficient at 0.3 microns. Construction and Materials

The NU-NR800E is fabricated from welded 16-gauge Type 304 stainless steel throughout. The large front window is hinged, lockable, and set at a 10-degree slant to reduce glare and improve ergonomic access during compounding. A door interlock on the interchange prevents the inner door from opening while the outer door is open, preserving containment integrity during every material transfer.

Two minihelic gauges provide direct visual monitoring of pressure in both the work zone and the interchange. LED task lighting delivers a minimum 40 foot-candles (430 LUX) at the work surface. A 3-position IV bar with 6 hooks accommodates a range of compounding setups.

FlowGard Control System

The NU-NR800E includes NuAire’s FlowGard digital control system with an OLED display. The interface supports six languages: English, Spanish, German, French, Simplified Chinese, and Japanese. A DC brushless EC impeller with constant volume control automatically compensates for filter loading to maintain consistent airflow across the filter’s service life. An exhaust interlock activates when the blower starts, ensuring negative pressure is established before the work zone can be accessed.
