Overview
The LabGard® NU-813 Containment Ventilated Enclosure (CVE) delivers trusted Class I containment for the safe manipulation of hazardous powders and aerosols in pharmacy, laboratory, and R&D environments. Engineered for compliance with USP <800>, COSHH, and global safety standards, the NU-813 is ideal for non-sterile hazardous drug compounding, chemical weighing, and toxicology workflows.
Available in 3-, 4-, and 6-foot benchtop models, the NU-813 features HEPA-filtered negative pressure airflow, real-time digital airflow monitoring with Aeromax™, and a quiet, energy-efficient EC motor. Its compact footprint and optional telescoping base stand make it a flexible solution for compounding pharmacies, biotech labs, academic research facilities, and industrial applications requiring high-performance containment.
From oncology drug preparation to powder weighing and analytical sample prep, the NU-813 protects personnel while optimizing workspace integration, certification readiness, and peace of mind.
Bag-in/Bag-out Exhaust Filter
The bag-in/bag-out feature ensures accredited certifier safety during exhaust HEPA filter changes, allowing direct containment of the old filter within a bag, eliminating exposure to contaminants for maximum protection.
Single or Redundant Exhaust HEPA Filters
The NU-813 offers adaptable exhaust configurations to align with your pharmacy needs: single exhaust HEPA for a facility exhaust system connection and a redundant filter option for recirculating air back into the pharmacy environment. This flexibility ensures USP 800 compliance, making the NU-813 CVE an ideal Containment Primary Engineering Control (C-PEC) for compounding nonsterile hazardous drugs.
Configurability and Comfort
Featuring stainless steel airfoils, the NU-813 streamlines the protective inflow into the work zone and provides ergonomic armrest comfort for operators. Standard cord pass-throughs on both sides enhance equipment integration like IV workflow systems, while optional waste chutes and shelves offer tailored adaptability for laboratory and pharmacy environments.
