In-VitroCell model NU-5731 is a direct heat CO2 incubator designed for hypoxic studies. A 5.65 cubic feet (160 Liter) chamber is able to control and suppress Oxygen level through the use of an O2 sensor that will inject N2 gas to meet setpoint. Model NU-5731 creates optimal hypoxic growth conditions for age-related studies, stem cell research, and more.

Hypoxic Conditions

Oxygen Control

For more sensitive cells lines prone to stress and DNA damage, CO2 Incubator models featuring Oxygen control utilize an O2 sensor to monitor oxygen in the growth chamber. Nitrogen (N2) gas is injected to suppress oxygen to set point. An extensive O2 range applies to various research applications, including the brain, eyes, liver, heart, kidneys, and more.


Constant Contamination Control

Advanced features mitigate risks due to contamination. Using a slight positive pressure within the chamber eliminates contaminated laboratory air entering the growth chamber. Air and gas pass through 99.99% @ 0.3 micron efficient HEPA filters before entering the chamber resulting in conditions similar to an ISO Class 5 cleanroom. Smooth rounded corners eliminate potential hiding places for contaminates. An overnight procedure running a decontamination cycle at 145° Celsius dry or 95° Celsius humidified is the perfect solution for the fight against contamination. Contamination control is just one more reason NuAire is the safer choice for your laboratory.


Direct Heat Chamber

The direct heat incubator uses heating elements placed around the chamber, in the door perimeter, and in the door itself to provide balanced temperature within a steel, insulated chamber environment. Door and perimeter heaters can be adjusted independently to ensure uniformity even when the incubator is installed in more demanding ambient temperatures.


NuTouch Control System

The NuTouch control system provides you with the user experience you have come to expect from any piece of modern equipment. Change set points, view chamber history, start a decontamination cycle, or perform a calibration procedure from this simple interface. All NuAire CO2 incubators standardize on the NuTouch control system, meaning that once users learn to navigate one incubator they can move seamlessly to any other in the lab.
